Gymnasium Ursulinien School, Landshut

since responsibility for the ursulinen realschule was taken over by the archdiocese of munich-freising in 1992 the number of pupils at the school has risen considerably. now there are approximately 860 pupils being taught in 28 classes. the existing single-size sports hall on the alter viehmarkt has become too small and is no longer adequate for current requirements. therefore a new double sports hall is to be built on the site at heilig-geist-gasse. it will also be used for school activities other than sports, eg parents‘ meetings, religious worship, school concerts and drama performances. beneath the sports hall underground car parking spaces will be created, in the form of a neighbourhood garage.
