the residential building was designed in 1906 by the architect albert eitel. the entire house and appurtenant arbour are protected as historic monuments. the building was refurbished inside and outside in line with monument protection requirements. among other things, albert eitel and hans eitel built a house in the kochenhofsiedlung area of stuttgart in 1933 and were involved in the construction of the “ufa-palast”, formerly the stuttgart train station, from 1925 to 1926.
