Residence FF, Stuttgart

In addition to the renovation of this listed building, the conservatories were modernised and redesigned. The new elevation blends into the existing situation without any structural alterations. The exterior walls are lined on the interior with beech panelling, in order to provide space for additional insulation, convection heating and electrical installation. The internal walls are plastered. Together they create a spatial organisation, in which plastered surfaces and beech panelling are set against one another in a clearly defined geometrical layout. The conservatory has the character of timber furniture or a piece of equipment.
